How to Get Rid of Bad Breath Without Spending a Fortune on Dentists

What's more embarrassing than going somewhere and all of a sudden you realize you have a bad breath? Don't worry. It's actually more common than you think. 25 to 30% of the population has it. Here's how to fix bad breath.

First of all, what causes bad breath?:
A bad mouth hygiene, lack of teeth brushing, eating a lot of sugars, cavities and smoking are all major factors.

1. Brush your teeth more.
It's really important to brush your teeth after every meal. This will remove excess foods that might be stuck between teeth, will provide a good breath and keep your teeth and mouth healthy.

2. Drink more water.
Drinking water will help maintain saliva flow and keep your mouth moist which discourages bacterial growth.

3. Exercise.
Working out 2-3 times per week not only makes you feel healthier and makes your body look nicer, it also helps to increase cellular turnover throughout your body.

4. Sleep and rest enough.
Your body needs a daily average sleep time of 8 hours. Most people never do that. Sleeping for 8 hours will give your body and mind the rest they need to function properly. A lack of good sleep, on the other hand, will slow down your metabolism and ruin your immune system which fights external bacteria that can also include the ones that are causing your bad breath

5. Eat fruits.
Foods that contain caffeine including some soft drinks, fast food, biscuits contribute to bad breath. Choose something healthy instead. Replace your coffee with a glass of coconut milk or a bowl of fruits. The best part is that most fruits are cheaper than coffee. So you'll end up with extra money left.

6. Cinnamon chewing sticks.
Cinnamon chewing sticks are a great product for bad breath treatment. They contain fiber that supports microbial diversity in your mouth. It also has great taste. You can choose this instead of normal chewing gums that often times include ingredients that can harm your stomach and overall health.
