There is not a person amongst us who doesn’t have insecurities — some are just better at dealing with them, or perhaps hiding them. These are the top ways to deal with your insecurities. 


1. Recognize them.
Journal or think of every flaw you think you have and ask yourself where you think this insecurity came from. Analyze it. Change your perception and ask yourself what it would look like if you treated your insecurities and yourself with love. 




2. Forgive the past
If your insecurities have been shaped by a relative/bully, recognize this and forgive. Understand that they were most likely driven by their own insecurities. They weren’t right in what they did, but holding onto resentment won’t help you feel better about yourself. 


3. Accept yourself.
Give yourself assurance and compassion. Embrace all the parts of you and see the beauty in them as they’re what makes you who you are. Remember that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Shift your negative thoughts into positive affirmations. 




4. Stop comparing yourself.
